A recently made friend just graduated with a Doctorate of Nursing. What does a doctor need? A teddy bear, of course. :)...Ok, it just came to my attention that this Doctor loves pink and my friend's finance's daughter doesn't like pink but is good with brown so that bears have switched owners. :)
I used Stephanie's very cute free Graduation Teddy pattern. I didn't change anything on her pattern (O.o) except the colors of the appendages. I also added poly pellets to the body for more weight and part of a toilet paper roll to the inside of the bottom of the graduation cap to give it more body. :)

Update:
Stephanie, the sweet designer of the pattern, commented that she really liked the variegated yarn I used. Just as I was responding back that the color of the yarn is called Oatmeal, I decided to name the bear Oatmeal. So, his name is now officially, Oatmeal! :)
these are absolutely adorable! You are so good with the 3d crocheting.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Helen. :) I just started doing 3D crocheting just this year so it has been a learning curve. :)
