Bridgette the Sock Bunny

I've been meaning to make a sock bunny ever since I saw a tutorial from Craft Passion but I have not been able to find the right socks. Finally, I did! And I do have to say that this little bunny is adorable.

Free Sewing Tutorial for the Sock Bunny from Craft Passion.
Materials: Sock, felt, embroidery floss, needle and thread, ribbon, Fiberfill, button eyes (with shank)
I sewed this little bunny by hand because it was easier than setting up the sewing machine. :)

My friend has already received her little bunny and blogged about it. Please check out her post at the Wandering Bunny.

I don't know if you noticed but I made this in January and have just gotten around to blogging about it. hehe I'm kinda bad about that, sorry. :-p

I hope your weekend is either restful or productive. What am I saying? Lazy weekends with loved ones are the best! Have a great one! :) hehe

My cousin just turned 20 years old! That is a big birthday in the Chinese culture. So, I got her a gift card from her favorite art supply store but I couldn’t stop there. Not me! hehe
I decided to try to design my own Minion Pillow with a pocket that can fit the gift card and here is what I came up with…
Isn’t he just huggable? :) I'm starting a minion army for my cousin. hehe
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft
Findings: Polyfill, 12mm Safety eyes, embroidery floss, buttons
Hook: 4.00 mm

Thank you Just Fab blog! :)

Happy Earth Day everyone!!!

The easiest way to start is to recycle. I'm lucky that I have a truck that picks up my recycling every week. I think all businesses and especially government should all be recycling. There's just no excuse.

Another thing that I feel is important, is to buy items made from recycled materials. We should not let those corporations have any excuse not to make products from recycled materials. I hope that landfills will now only be compost piles and have nothing else but organic materials. :) Ok, off my soap box.

Hope you all have a wonderful week!!!
