Holiday BYATWF!

Panda Ongiri had to get ready for the last BYATWF. So I made him a lil Santa hat to wear. All ready now but he’s getting a little Grey around the edges. I think he’s getting ready to retire soon if I can’t find a way to give him a touch up. :p

Here is the last BYATWF for the year, holiday version. We did last min. prep for a baby shower. Lots of crafting was done. :) But it was all worth it. :)

We hope your holiday prep is going well. :)

Have a Happy Panda Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!! Thank you to all my lovely followers. Your likes and comments really support and inspire me. :) Have a great one!!

I'm making all the sides this year. We have a mix of American and Chinese dishes: green bean casserole, stir fried mushrooms, potato salad, and danko (white turnip) soup. We bought the turkey with sticky rice and a stir fried greens at a Chinese restaurant this year. I'm too scared to actually try to cook a turkey. hehe And 3 types of desserts: almond jello with fruit cocktail, red bean mochi bars, and apple turnovers. Yum!!!

Lovely Baby Lion Amigurumi

I was lucky enough to test another adorable version of LookAtWhatIMade's lion. The first was the amish puzzle ball, then came the lovely, and now this adorable amigurumi stuffed animal.

He's an adorable little hand full. He's the perfect size to be carried around by a little one. :) I'm going to give him with the lion lovely to a friend who's having her first baby boy. :)

She has lots of great patterns, some free and some not, on her website. :) It was a lot of fun to make him. :) I hope you guys try too. :)

My largest amigurumi to date! Watermelon loving Elephant. :)

I was delighted to test Laura’s, Happyamigurumi, Elephant pattern. He turned out huge because I used a 4mm hook when the patten called for a 2mm hook.  He turned out to be 15in tall and took about 10 hrs to make. I loved the colors. And since they were watermelon colors, I had to make a yummy treat for him. :)
So here is my Elephant. He loves watermelon just like his grandma. :)
He found a great home with my step brother in Colorado. :)

10 days till Halloween - Free Crochet Ghost Patterns!

OMG! Only 10 days till Halloween!!! And I've only made one thing to decorate with. :p I haven't been really in the Halloween mood but with some really cute crochet patterns out there and my wonderful friend, Bunny, from thewanderingbunny.blogspot.com sending me a great fun Halloween/Fall package, I'm getting in the holiday mood. :)

I love how she made this really cute felt raccoon feltie and then sent me the magazine with the pattern in it. :) hehe She also sent me some great Halloween decorations and treats. Makes me feel like digging up my Halloween decorations and go to town. :)

Since I'm just getting into crocheting Halloween themed cuties, I thought I would help you guys with some cute free patterns as well. :) Tonight, it will be cute friendly ghosts. :)

Let me introduce Andy, a little ghost who wanted to be a panda so bad that he decided to add panda markings for Halloween. With his limited resources, he wasn't able to completely become a panda but he is still quite adorable. :)

I made this cutie from the Free Baby Ghost Ornament Pattern from A Morning Cup of Jo Creations. You can find it HERE through craftsy. I would also follow her on the Facebook Page for more great patterns and giveaways. :)

The sweet guy is from Lion Brand and his name is Genie. I made him last year for my friend Rachel, my best Bunny, and added a sparkily red scarf for him. Sadly, I don't have a picture to post but you can find him on her blog (url is earlier in the post). For this free pattern, click HERE.

I found this larger crochet ghost over at craftsy. Just click HERE, it's free. :)

Click HERE for this adorable ghost decoration for Halloween. IDEA! :) You could also do a "Hear no Evil, See no Evil, Speak no Evil" ghost set with this pattern. :)

One of my favorite crochet designers, Twinkie Chan, came up with this Ghost Candy Container using Yoplait yogurt containers. Her adorable free pattern can be found on her blog, HERE. I would check out her other patterns, they are all adorable and usually centered around food. hehe

Can you believe it? I was so excited that someone wrote out a pattern for Zero the Ghost Dog and it's free!! You can find the pattern HERE.

And lastly, here is a great ghost bowl for all your treats. :) Boo!tiful Candy Bowl Free pattern from Lion Brand Yarn, HERE. :)

I would love to see all of your cute creations! Please post pictures on my Facebook Page, Panda8ngel Creations. :)

Bring Your Amigurumi To Work Friday #4

Happy...

Sept. 6, 2013 was a almost a week ago, Yes, I'm very behind. hehe But on this BYATWF, I went to a Backstreet Boys concert with friends for a late birthday present. :) This will be my 4th BSB concert. :) And it was so much fun! It was like a giant karaoke party! I loved singing to the songs with my friends and feeling like I was back in High school. hehe Yes, I'm dating myself. :p

My friend brought her husband. I was really surprised that there were so many guys there. hehe But everyone had fun and we got to see all 5 BSB!!! :D

By the way, they have a new album out that was done without a label! That's right, they wrote the songs themselves and produced it without a label! I'm so proud of them! I can't wait to get my paws on a copy. Been too busy to go out. Sigh....I am proud to be a BSB lover!!! :)

And Happy International Crochet Day!!! :)

Good night! :)

BYATWF #3 - Panda Onigiri and Tigress Run Amok!

I blame my manager for all the trouble they got into. The day started with him giving them ice cream at 10:30am and it ended with someone being disassembled. Sigh....
~~~~
My manager received a tub of ice cream as a gift and wanted the workers to eat it all. Our fridge was not big enough to hold it until lunch so they distributed it at 10:30am. As soon as my cup of ice cream was plopped onto my desk, the Panda Onigiri jumped right in, literally.
The tigress really wanted some ice cream too. Luckily, I cleaned off the Panda before she decided to lick the ice cream off of him. Don't worry Panda, I fed her too. :)
Then they got online to check out other BYATWF pics and saw how much fun this bunny was having with a copy machine.
Ding! There goes their little light bulbs. Sigh...of course they wanted to try out the copy machine too. I was too busy to stop them and they had lots of fun.
And then my co-worker, Ruby, brought out her Blue Bunny Ami to play. :)
Poor tigress just wanted a closer look....
Hyped up on sugar from the ice cream, the Blue Bunny led the charge and ....
Egads!!! They disassembled poor tigress!!! She was made to be disassembled but still, it was not a gentlemanly thing to do. Do not worry. I stepped in and rescued her.
It was all too much for the poor girl. She rambled to a place that felt closer to home to hide. Panda onigiri felt really bad and tried to make up. They are still not talking but I'm sure they will make up soon. :)
It was a Bring Your Ami to Work Friday full of adventures. When I got them home, they went to nap right away. I think I'll keep them home bound for the weekend to let them rest. :)
Happy Weekend Everyone!!! Stay tuned for the next BYATWF!!! :)
Panda's 4th of July Holiday 2013
Happy 4th of July!!! I know it's a little late on the posting but that 4 day weekend wore me out! hehe
To start the holiday right, on July 3th, the Panda took her mom to the Hollywood Bowl to see Josh Groban in concert and for some fireworks!
It seems that the Panda developed a little bit of a crush on the amazing singer. :) I saw some major flirting going on...hehe
<3 <3 <3
For the actual holiday, we went to the beach with friends. It was a very long day. It started at 8am and ended at 1am the next day....yea...we party hard! hehe
Sadly, the water was too cold to go boogie boarding in so we stayed on the beach and nom nom nom all day long. Ya know, just being pandas. hehe
This weekend was also the second Bring Your Amigurumi To Work Friday. Since I spent the day sleeping, eating, watching tv, and recovering from July 4th, I didn't take any pics. I needed a vacation to get over the holiday. hehe
Live your Life and Be Panda Happy! :)
Fun day with Monsters University and Friends!
Watched Monsters University 3D with my cousin and our new housemates Mike and Sulley the weekend it came out. :) I thought the movie was very cute and had a great moral story line. :)
After dropping Mikey off at his new home with my cousin, Sulley and I went to hang out with other friends. We got yummy boba tea which Sulley helped me drink and ate hot pot.
It was a very good day. :) And I wanted to thank Josephine from A Morning Cup of Jo Creations for the free baby Mike and Sulley pattern! You can find the Free pattern on her ravelry or craftsy account.
