Purple Princess's Bday Presents

I haven't even given her, her Xmas present and I already have to make her something for her bday.:P I do like making gifts, it is so much easier on my pocketbook and more from my heart. :)

I got this idea for a bell ring from making my Aunt's Xmas gift, Jingle Bell Bracelet. I made it in purple because my friend is known as the "Purple Princess". hehe  It does make a lot of noise but wear it when you are having fun anyways. hehe You can twist the bells around to make different patterns. And it was very easy to do! :)

Here is my old stand by, the flat spiral stitch. I used 6mm bicones in the center and 4mm bicones on the sides and two different colored seed beads. I love how this bracelet turned out. The colors make it really breath taking. I think this bracelet is much more beautiful in person.

Panda's Tip of the day: finish the ends of the flat spiral stitch by adding a 3mm crystal in the same color as the 6mm bicone in the center before making the loop and adding the clasp.

I thought the Purple Princess would like a cute purple bow ring. :) It is pretty easy to do. I am thinking or putting a tutorial for this ring on a blog post later on. We shall see if I get around to it. :) This little bow would be a cute earring as well. :)

Happy Birthday Trinity!

Pink Princess Ring

I decided to make her a set by adding a ring to the bracelet. I used the Rose Dome Ring pattern. I used 4mm Rose Opal Swarovski crystal and seed beads.

The Set
I hope she likes it. :)

I See, I Like, I Do :)

I just wanted to show one of my processes when I make jewelry, I copy. :P I don't infringe on copyrights by selling instructions but I will see a piece of beaded jewelry that I like and figure out how to make it and here is an example. :P
My Inspiration from INM Crystal.com
On INM Crystal's website, I saw this ring and fell in love. It is from a book, "Love and Beads". I thought it would be fun to try and figure this one out from the picture. :) The website also show a Rose Beaded Ball Necklace that uses this bead as the focal point.

My Notes
This is what I wrote down from looking at the picture. I have this little black notebook that I use for inspirations and ideas. I use to write down ideas on other note pads but I write a lot of other notes in those note pads too so, it is nice when you have a single subject notebook. Also, this fits nicely into the pencil box I use to hold my supplies for my current project(s). Here, I wrote down the instructions in a diagram fashion.
Red and Black Beaded Ball
This is the finished beaded ball that I made from my notes. I used 4mm jet (black) Swarvoski crystals and red seed beads. I really like it and will probably put it on a chain to wear as a necklace. :) While making this, I realized that my initial notes were really incomplete, therefore i decided to make another one so that I could write down a full set of instructions for myself.

Gold and Jonquil Beaded Ring
This is the finished ring. I used 4mm Jonquil (yellow) Swarvoski crystals and size 11 gold seed beads. I really like it. :) It is very sparkly. hehe I showed it to my friend, who is a guy, and he thought that it was too "gaudy" hehe. I think it is fun because it is so "gaudy" hehe. I did not put crystals in the band of the ring because I think it is much more comfortable if the band was made up of seed beads only.

Finished Instructions for the Ring and Ball
This is what I wrote down while I was making the Gold and Yellow ring. The instructions are written in a chart format that I use for most of my 3D beading. It includes where to stop for the ring. :) Other 3D beading I do include animals, hearts, etc. I will post those later. :)

Let me know what you think, :)

Procrastination made me :p

I made these because I was procrastinating. I know, very very bad Panda. :P

Fushia double AB with Silver Backed Flower Ring
My cousin, Mindy, is my hand model for the first 2 pictures. :) Now this pink ring was spotted by my mother who decided to steal it because it makes her happy to wear it. How could I say no to that. So, now she walks around the house in T-shirts and scrub bottoms with this ring, nice. hehe I used Swarvoski crystal bicones and flowers with clear seed beads.
I found a picture of this ring on my news feed on facebook, I forget which page, but thought, I could totally do this. And so, I did. I am more of the scaredy cat when it comes to color. :p Update: I just found the link to this page. It is from JewelrySupply.com. And they have a tutorial! :) Here is their tutorial on how to make this bracelet. I think it is too wordy and it's easier if you see the instructions in a diagram format. But they do have a video on their page. So have fun making these. :)

Pink 5-petal Flower Ring
I have these top-drilled Swarvoski bicones that I bought for another project. I thought, hey, I could do the same thing and make it into a flower ring too. I like it except that the band on this ring is a bit too narrow. I will widen the band on the next one I make.

Montana 2xAB and Silver Backed Flower Ring
Since my mom stole the last one I made, I decided to make this one for me. I did this one from memory. And yes, that is my hand...lol

Now, onto the hair goodies I made from zippers! :)
I started making these because like a year ago, my friend, Trinity, saw something like it in a store and I said I could make it for her. It is really fun and easy. Again, Mindy is my model here. :)

Black Zipper flower Headband

Close up of the Zipper Bow/Flower on the Headband
This one is for Trinity. :) Both the flowers above and below was made from one 1/2 of a zipper and I just twisted it to make the loops and tacked it together with some thread.

Purple Zipper Bow Hair clip

Antique Rose Zipper Flower Hair Clip
This one was made in a different way than the two above. For this one, I gathered the petals each separately, then sewn the petals and middle to a felt backing.

Black Zipper Flower
I don't know what I want to make this Black flower into just yet. I can add it to an elastic scrunchy or add a hair clip or make it into a brooch. So many choices. I might put a hair clip and a pin back onto it so it is more versitle. Don't know yet.

Purple Zipper Brooch (Picture from the Rachel's blog)
I sent this Zipper Brooch to my good friend, Rachel. I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how to take my beaded flowers and make them into a brooch because my friend loves to wear and collect them. Still have not figured it out, but will keep on working on it. :P Rachel did a great job with the picture of the brooch. Since it was better than mine, I decided to post hers. hehe

Until next time. :)
