We remember…it’s not about a 3 day weekend, sales and shopping, or bbqs….

It’s about being thankful that we have our freedom, our lives, friends and family….because they gave up theirs. At 3pm (local time) please have a moment of silence for those who gave their lives for our freedom.

My First Crochet Student

A friend of mine wanted to learn crochet last year but didn't get around to it. Luckily, we were able to get together so I can help her out. She wanted to make ami so I suggested A Morning Cup of Jo Creations's Spring Squishies patterns as a great beginner project. :) She choose the little duckie. :)



I gave her a little kit to help her start her ami obsession....hehe It included a beginner's book, 3 hooks, tapestry needle, felt, stitch marker, safety eyes, polyfill, and a bag to hold it all. :) All she had to supply is her pick of yarn. :)



I think her next project will be the chicken hehe Practice makes perfect! :) Keep going Ruby!!
